Huda Legit Mascara

[unpaid/sample/ad] I’m a bit set in my ways when it comes to mascara – I love to try a new one but always veer back to two or three favourites. I’ve just started testing a lash lengthening serum so if it works, I’m hoping for a massive, fulsome sweep above the mask :-).

Huda Legit Mascara

Huda’s newest launch is Legit Mascara, a double-ender addressing curl, length and volume. My preference always lies with a thin brush, particularly for shorter lashes, because fat brushes can be just too big to get under the lashes and coat effectively. This version isn’t off the scale and is nicely tapered so you should get an even coating from end to end. If you’re a contact lens wearer or have sensitive eyes, you need to know that the formula at the Volume end contains fibres.

The Curl & Length end has the brush of my dreams – it’s the perfect shape to get beneath the lashes for a proper, uplifting brush through that really does give a proper lift and curl effect. I mean, it’s not like you’ve had the hot curlers at them but there was a noticeable difference lift and therefore eye-opening effect, while delivering a densely black colour. So, the obvious advantage is that you can pick and choose or double up depending upon how you feel – the finish isn’t a soft lash exactly but neither is it full on crispy. The disadvantage is that if you greatly prefer one end to the other OR you only want one or other of the effects, one end won’t get the same use as the other. Annoyingly, it’s wait-listed everywhere in the US and the UK so those lush lashes will just have to wait a little longer. I’ll try and keep and eye on re-stock and shout out when it’s available again.

Hi Jane. Can I ask what lash serum you are using? Since having a child mine have become straight and stumpy to my dismay! Trying a Talika one at the moment and waiting for miracles
    Thanks

      It’s Revitalash but I’m only on day 3 🙂

The same happened to mine post baby. I tried Lil Lash which was good but I’m now using NK1 for half the price and I’m on my second tube. Highly recommend!

  2. Ohh this sounds lovely! I love the look of the brush shape – it looks so easy to apply! Thanks for sharing 🙂
