As with mascara, because brow gels are a form of mascara, it can often be all about the brush rather than the formula. I’m really impressed with this brush that allows for those with fuller brows and those with more sparse brows by simply switching which side they use.
Genuinely, I think brow gel formulas are much of a muchness so there needs to be good reason to make a spend – these are £22 HERE. If you’re attentive to your brows and like to do a full comb and paint then these are pretty good but I equally like that there is a clear one so that those like me can get a comb and ‘style’ without adding colour. I don’t have really full brows but nor are they thin so I can go either option. On the rare occasions I wear a red lip colour, for example, I feel the need to ensure my brows are on point, but other than that I am happy for them to go their wayward ways! I also quite like that the colours aren’t too deep and quite natural – I’ve gone SO wrong with what I think is a mid brown only to discover that my thought and the reality are about 20 shades darker! There are six shades available – a decent auburn among them.
Shades above are Dark Brunette and Warm Brunette – I can wear either depending on whether I want natural and precise or darkened down a wee bit.
