Elizabeth Arden Smoky Plum Limited Edition Lipstick

Elizabeth Arden Smoky Plum Limited Edition Lipstick

Just like in fashion world, some trends come along and you think, there’s no way I can do that! That’s how I feel about the really deep, vampy wine stain lipsticks. I’m envious of women who can own that look, but I’ve only just dared to do reds, so moving along to blackened berry isn’t going to happen any time soon. But, there are always elements of any trend that you can make your own, and the Elizabeth Arden Smoky Plum Limited Edition Lipstick gives a nod to wine stain but keeps to a more neutral theme.

Elizabeth Arden Smoky Plum Limited Edition Lipstick is almost a nude shade but has a mysterious smoky wine element at the back – it’s very wearable.

The texture is creamy, the colour dense and the finish is a light sheen. It’s suggesting a 20 hour wear – in my life time I have never known a lipstick to do this so I’m ignoring that! Elizabeth Arden Smoky Plum Limited Edition Lipstick is £21 and launches on ElizabethArden.co.uk next month.

  1. Now that is a beautiful shade and I am not usually a fan of Elizabeth Arden x

I could never spend that much on one lipstick but that is truly gorgeous…

  4. Oh, this one is really beautiful! For some reason it reminds me of Bourjois Rouge 04 lipstick (maybe a cheaper alternative?) which I believe is called Rose Tweed.

  5. The Elizabeth Arden packaging is always so unique and luxurious! This colour lovely too! x

  6. That is a lovely shade, could see it working on almost anyone. Quite nice packaging too.

  7. Packaging is very beautiful, and that colour does look like a nice neutral shade. Though I have to admit to a weakness for a good dark lip. I feel most myself wearing dark lipstick. May have to explore the EA range more x
