I’ve put AD in the title because I have paid content for this on Instagram rather than here but there’s so much confusion over declaring split content like this. So, to be completely clear I am not paid for the content on here but I am paid for the content I have produced on Instagram (which is a simple, glowy make up look for older skin). So, here we go – I have been in a virtual queue on Boots.com for half an hour this morning and I’m suspecting it’s because the elf Halo Glow Blush has launched today. I have a sample here in Rose You Slay but there are four other shades. It’s an absolute ringer in finish and texture for the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wands.

In the same ‘beauty wand’ family are Contour and Highlight wands – again, remarkably similar to far more expensive options. I particularly like the blush because I’m not really a highlight or contour fan (who has time?) and it’s just like a shaft of light has settled on your cheek bones. I don’t find it mega-watt but just enough to make your skin lightful and brightened.

I’ve been jumping around in my kitchen trying to catch the light properly for this blush – aptly (for me) named Rose You Slay (!) in the middle – other swatches are Contour in Fair and Highlight in Champagne Campaign. They’re all £9 each.

Terrible screen grabs from my IG video but you can see the cushion applicator in use and that little beam of light that appears. I’m leaving the Boots link so I hope you don’t get stuck in a queue like I did, but I pretty much think they will be gone by the end of the day. It’s HERE. [affiliate]
