e.l.f. No Budge Shadow Stick

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Well, this is the easiest post ever! The e.l.f. No Budge Shadow Stick is on sale for £2.50 instead of £5 and it’s really such a great deal for a product that delivers on its promise.

e.l.f. No Budge Shadow Stick

I’m a big fan of shadow sticks in general – literally, one swipe and you’re done. I like them especially for hooded eyes because you still get a flash of colour that doesn’t wander where it isn’t wanted and even if (like me) you are losing your lids somewhat, a flash, particularly metallic, close to the lash line, surrounded by a black mascara lash fringe is a gorgeous eye look for any age or tone. There’s no drop, no smudging and almost impossible to get wrong. What is not to like about this set of beauty circumstances!

The shade I have here is Bronze Metal – a kind of gold hit taupe – but there are three other colours, Metallic Mocha, Rose Gold and Perfect Pearl and at that price, I’d grab the lot. No Budge is quite a claim – and it’s the one issue that goes against shadow sticks because how long it stays really will depend upon how oily your lids are – mine stayed absolutely true all day other than in the crease where it faded slightly. It’s as easy to reapply as a lipstick. Anyway, here they are, £2.50 each HERE, non-affiliate HERE.

Oooh thanks for heads up – I love these shadow sticks (well to be honest I love mist things Elf produce!), and have all the colours. Time to stock up!❤️

Good ol’ ELF. Shout out to their Wow Brow Gel, which is an absolute steel!

I’ve got that to try next!

The natural brown colour in ELF seems the same as Boy Brow (the brown one). I think if you were a brow ‘perfectionist’ then the Glossier one is better (Boy Brown is ‘wetter’ if that makes sense, and seems to lay down more colour), but if you’re looking for something to tidy up the Dennis Healey’s day to day with a bit of extra depth, whilst mooching around, the ELF is a no brainer given the price difference. It’s on sale sometimes as well. I have similar hair colour to you, so I think the natural brown would be a good colour for you to try. Looking forward to seeing what you think ; ) Thanks again btw for keeping on during these difficult times, reading your blog is my daily treat; the blog equivalent of a dark chocolate digestive and a cuppa.

Ah thank you Carrie – that’s so nice to hear – I’ve got the brunette here which I will try today x

Brilliant, thanks. I’ve only a Chanel shadow stick, and I bet there’s damn all difference between it and any other brand, tbh.
I still tend to prefer palette/powder shadows, but some days, it’s all just too much faff for very little effect. I’ve suffered the age-related ‘Disappearance Of The Eyelids’**, so miserable an affliction, and as you say, a quick swipe, with an attractive glimpse of glisten every now and then, seems like big time excitement!
This taupey one you show here would be a great buy.

**very tempted by those mad looking silicone strip things you wedge into your eye socket to keep the lids looking awake. Have you ever heard anything good about them?

I’ve tried them – they do work to a certain degree but personally I could always feel them there and because I could feel them I felt people could see them. The Botox I just had is specifically to raise up the lids (rather than erase lines) so that’s my solution for the time being. I don’t think you would have a second of regret spending the £2.50 on this stick!

Thanks very much Jane……investigating local Botox today, and am ordering the ELF stick. 🙂

I’ve just bought all 4 they had. Bargain. Also trying their Eye Putty. Like the idea of the different shades for different effects. Haven’t shopped with Elf for years thanks for bringing them back to my attention.
