Donna May London Brush Set

[unpaid/sample] I keep my make up brushes in pots – several of them – I think there might be too many to put in a roll but I’m always admiring of a tidy brush kit.

Donna May London

This has a good selection covering off most make-up circumstances, containing a foundation/concealer brush, a bronzer/blusher brush, an eyelid blender and socket line brush and a brow/multi use brush.

They all fit snuggly into the brush holding wallet which also has room for other minor accessories (headband) so you have everything in one place. There’s a lot to be said for always knowing that your brushes will be in the exact place you left them – single brushes, I find, wander about the house! It’s currently £29.95 and they’re expecting more stock soon.

Donna May Mask

I love these silky masks that come as a set of two in a pouch for £15 HERE – I’ve fallen into the habit of wearing medical masks which is a bit of a missed opportunity to bring some colour to the world.

Pretty! I also somehow like the idea of double-end but in the real life… I guess with hard etui and not elastic but sort of click-in loops this may work, but as is for me it’ll be a daily nuisance (I had traditional brushes in such roll-bag – good for travel, but for daily use nice pot/glass/vase works best for me). This Black Friday pushed me to buy beautiful wine-red set with white hair from Zoeva – their brush vault with 12 all-covering basics… not my fault – most of my old brushes got… well, you know, OLD (12+ years most of them with a few younger but very hard working – they sort of… decompose on me. Goat’s hair on some got really _crumbly_. Synthetics forever!) Masks are lovely! I’m toying with idea of buying a few real silk ones – meanwhile got simple cotton and they WAY more easy to breathe in than disposables (even with that extra put-in papery filter they still “breathe” better!). Seems like masks are here to stay some time, so really nice to glam them up a notch, huh?

Yes, agreed re masks… Zoeva set sounds nice – will take a look!
