[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m a long time fan of Delilah (and nobody ask me why, why, why ;-)) for producing truly wearable products that are effective and reliable. It’s one of the few make-up brands that tries to give a fair representation of age although I’d like to see more images in general on their website to bring it to life a bit but overall it’s fair to say the brand is trying to bring vibrancy and glow to any age category.

The ‘essentials’ set is a value set and well worth it too at £38 with a £57 value. I’d suggest the set for a beauty gift when you’re not quite confident of the recipient’s colour preferences because inside is a primer (no colour), a brush and a gentle, mid-tone bronzer that will suit most tones excluding very deep or very pale. A safe middle ground perhaps.

The bronzer is the finest powder (personally, I’d prefer it creme) and the shade is just enough to bring warmth to the tone without looking as though you’ve sneaked a holiday in while nobody was looking. It’s just a perk up for our fading summer tones. The set is also a good introduction to the brand if you don’t know it – their vegan brushes are some of the best I’ve ever used although maybe it would have been better to include a gloss (my absolute favourite is mood brightener, Amalie) because everyone has a brush, right? In fact, I’m pointing you to Look Fantastic for this and they have 20% off lip products just now so you could always add your own. You can find the set HERE.
