Although the It Cosmetics Laugh Love Live Palette is a re-invention of the face colour wheel, because we’ve seen this ‘bonne mine’ combo many times, it’s really a lovely one. It’s powder, but the formula is smooth and not dry with a decent level of pigment. It’s a palette that you really don’t have to try too hard with at all.
I LOVE that it carries this positive messaging and it made me smile when I opened it. All you need is a kabuki for this and you’re off.
As you can see, the blush section is a warm, rose gold with plenty of peach in the mix. There is a bit of golden shimmer but it’s not over the top. The highlight is a warm tone neutral – more champagne – and the bronze is an orange free zone. It’s matte. For older skin, the fact that it isn’t a dry powder is a crucial element because it’s far less likely to settle in any creases. When I rub the texture between my fingers, it has a silky, moisture-feel to it.
The It Cosmetics Laugh Love Live Palette is on QVC today – it’s £28 which seems reasonable to me and I don’t think stock will last long because there is a lot of interest in the this relatively new to the UK brand. You can find it HERE.
