If you like your gloss ultra shiny with a vinyl effect, then the Collection Deluxe Lip Lacquer will hit the spot very nicely at £4.19 each. Don’t expect the newer, non-sticky formulas – this is good, old fashioned sticky gloss which means that you aren’ t having to reapply every five minutes. This saw me very happily through a Diet Coke from the tin (don’t judge!) and a coffee before it needed any kind of touch up and even then, that was me being a bit fussy.
I have three shades here: Red Carpet which is a raspberry red with a shot of iridesence, Prom Queen, a pink nude shade and Sparkling Lights, a burgundy toned red. I had an argument with Sparkling Lights because the brush well wasn’t in properly – now I know why brushes in gloss go through a tiny pinch hole at the top of the tube… literally I had gloss everywhere, so you might want to check that’s not the case with yours. I have samples here and it could literally be just a sample issue rather than through the whole run, but still… never has so little gloss gone so far.
The Collection Deluxe Lip Lacquer are super value at under a fiver – lots of colour and plenty of staying power, but the pay off is some tackiness in the wear. You can find them HERE.
