[samples] I felt sure that I’d reviewed this mascara and lash plumper before I can’t find it anywhere at all so we’re starting afresh. I do know I reviewed the lip plumper from this brand in 2017.

If you like a really strong lash look, the combination of the plumper and the mascara is very impressive. The plumper coating definitely gives a bigger lash without making them clumpy or unwieldy. If you prefer a less intense lash look, you’ll find that the mascara on its own gives beautiful definition and depth of colour without over-loading. The brand was actually created for short or sparse lashes to lengthen and thicken so both are fibre based. I can be sensitive to fibres but that really wasn’t an issue this time.

You can layer up – one coat is fine for just a day fringe around the eyes whereas two or three coats (with plumper) and it’s a whole other story. I think part of the secret is in the brush shape which I greatly prefer to the fat brushes. A slender brush allows you to get nearer to the roots and be more accurate with application. I did get a little bit of smudging at the very end of the day, but I’m an eye rubber so I really cannot attribute it to the mascara alone. There was zero flaking. It’s £19.95 and £18 for the plumper which adds up to rather a lot but worth a try if you like to be detailed with your lash look and/or have shorter lashes than you’d like. You can find them both HERE.
