Charlotte Tilbury Pocket Pout

I love the new Charlotte Tilbury Pocket Pout – a little brick of lipstick with a kiss planted right on top! Yes, you’re going to need to hunt out your lip brushes for this one but it’s very well worth it. There are two shades, Kiss Me Quick and Jessica Red BUT Jessica Red is only available in the advent calendar (bad decision!). Kiss Me Quick is the warm nude shade above – very punchy in pigment and silky smooth on the lip.

Jessica Red is a properly pillar box red – I have a sneaky feeling that we might see this re-emerge after Christmas as a separate item but that’s literally me just summising.

Swatches of both are above – you can see they’re power-packed with pigment and the texture is that of a creme lipstick. The Kiss Me Quick Pocket Pout is £16.50 (they’re really tiny, I have to warn you) HERE.

Jane, are you someone who’s open to feedback regarding site layout etc? If so, hate it. Please revert to your old style.

Of course, I’m always open to feedback and thank you for making the time. I hope you will bear with us for a little bit – I know it takes some getting used to but there are various reasons for making these changes and I’d like to experiment a little longer to see if works better. One of the issues is being found in search, which is greatly helped by this format. If there’s no benefit after a while, then I will revert back, but I really have to give it a go. It looks strange to me as well! I hope you’ll stay a bit to see if you can get used to it, and if not, I completely understand xx

Definitely, just read my comment back and it seems a bit rude. Wasn’t my intention, the site just kept freezing on my work computer x

Don’t worry… I didn’t take it that way at all.. is it working now?

            Indeed it is, thanks Jane

I like the new layout. It is modern and clean and looks great.

      thank you xx

I have given up on lipstick that needs a brush or fingers.

I don’t like the furniture being re-arranged without advanced notice. I wondered if it was your site when I first landed. The reassuring picture of you and the pooch have disappeared from the right hand side of the screen. You need to put a little bit more of you back into the site such as the illustration of you, a pooch in pearls or the old logo. On the plus side the site runs fast and the quality of the photos seems better.

Hi there.. thanks for your feedback.. you’re right: it does seem less personal without the picture so I’ll definitely take it on board and put it back. I know it’s not ideal, but we are tinkering around with SEO (being found in search) for a while so the change isn’t for cosmetic reasons – I wish these things didn’t matter but they do. The site speed has been upgraded massively which hopefully gives a better reader experience. x

I feel as though these lipsticks will be one of those makeup products that I’ll be too afraid to use because I don’t want it to lose it’s beautiful shape! Love the nude shade, it’s so me xx

I hated swatching it.. there’s no way I can get it back to anything like perfect!

I just don’t see how she can bill these as a ‘pocket pout’ when you have to cart a lip brush around too. Surely the inclusion of a tiny brush or doe foot applicator couldn’t be too much of a stretch? I find it lazy & cheap, Charlotte darrrrling….
