[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] There’s a lot of newness from Charlotte Tilbury – most of which I really do like. In fact, there is one product in particular where it was love at first use even though I think it’s too expensive!
I’ll start with the best thing – the Lip & Cheek Glow in Colour of Dreams. It’s a kind of neutral beige-pink that works across all skin tones and works as well on both lips and cheeks. It’s creamy and sheer, giving cheeks a light sheen and impacting the same on lips in a neutral tone. It’s a done but not over done kind of a thing.
This is ‘Colour of Dreams’ on me – it’s £30 (yikes) HERE. I’m reaching for it every day now.
The new palette, Pillow Talk of Dreams, is an understated sunset arrangement – a few tones down from the oranges and pinks that you’d normally associate with sunset palettes but still giving that enlivened eye look. The pigment is very high so you only need a tiny bit. The two shimmer shades are high gleam – the ‘prime’ shade on the top left is plenty for me without needing anything else but in fact, all the shades work well individually. If you like a lot of gleam, this is for you! It’s £43 HERE.
The palette swatches are from the very top and down. The swatch for Colour of Dreams is after that, and the Chic to Cheek (coming up) in Pillow Talk comprises the last two.
I’m never terribly inspired by the Chic to Cheeks – probably because I’m not a powder blush fan. However, this shade is also a suit-all – you could wear it warm or cool and I think I’d describe it as a nutty pink with a champagne sheen. It’s a good neutral, super soft and silky and gives a lightly glowy effect. This isn’t a new shade I don’t think but interestingly, most of the Chic to Cheeks are out of stock – still the Brexit or Covid effect I think because this is a brand that’s very good at managing stock levels. It’s £32 HERE.
I’ve got a few more products that I’ll feature in another post – one of which is the new Colour Chameleon stick in Pillow Talk (pearly pink). In the past, people have commented that Colour Chameleons don’t stay on the lids very long and I’ve never had that problem til this one! It’s not lasting on my lids so unless my lids have suddenly become extremely oily, there’s something different about it. I’m trying it with various lid primers so when I hit the jackpot I’ll let you know!
