Chantecaille Lip Veils

Chantecaille Lip Veils

I’d love lip ‘veils’ to have their own category in the same way that lip sticks and lip glosses do – they’re so completely handy for anything at all if you’re not someone who wants a power lip or a slick lip every day. A fine, flattering veil of colour doesn’t hold any misadventure possibilities like full pigment does (teeth, lip bleeding, smudging) and with no stickiness that gloss can have, your hair is safe too.

These are launching in September and as you might guess, they’re supporting an elephant charity, Space For Giants. For the record, you don’t just get the back end of an elephant on your lipstick – the front end is round the corner!

The texture of the veils is buttery and smooth and can properly be described as a comfort wear. This kind of sheer coating that feels lip nourishing as well as adding a light to medium pop of colour is something I come back to time and time again.

Shades from bottom to top are: Oleander, Baobab, Honeypot and Impatiens. They’re £38 (eek) each and launch in September.

These look lovely, but are they scented? I’m sure some of their lipsticks are, and I can’t bear wearing them.

    Thanks

There is no discernible scent xx

At last something from an Autumn collection that I’d actually want to wear. The price is steep but as I haven’t seen anything else that appeals it amy be doable.

I enjoy the season round ups.
