Chantecaille Lip Crystals

[productsample/gratis] I now have all three of the Chantecaille Lip Crystals to show you for the forthcoming spring 2019 collection. The Chantecaille spring 2019 collection has really divided people – it is an expensive collection (the palette HERE £90) which seems to be the main obstacle and objection but if you’re into the inspiration, which is the prevention of global warming (the polar regions are the early warning system), then you may see it as a worthwhile investment.

Chantecaille Spring

They remind me so much of Jelly Tots which now, of course, has me craving a bag of those sugar coated candies (that you hardly ever see any more). The sparkles around the exterior of the bullet give extra twinkles so you have to want a metallic, sparkle-shot look in the first place. In the line up above from left to right: Carnelion, Citrine and Tourmaline. Vogue made an interesting connection – to match your lipstick to your ear-rings (or general jewellery) which is a good observation but I wonder who would notice?! Nobody in my house, that’s for sure.

Chantecaille Lipsticks

I think if you went all in palette and lipsticks, the whole look could be a bit ABBA, but Carnelion, in particular is rather stunning. I’ll be interested to see whether these sell out, and part of me hopes they do, even at £42, as each sale represents a new tree planted. These have already launched in the US – I don’t have a date for the UK yet though.

Hi! Do you feel the glitter on the lips?! How is the staying power? Thank you for a great blog!!!!

Hi there, no you don’t feel it – the texture of all of it is very silky and light – almost weightless. Staying power is average x
