Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo

I was unexpectedly sent another couple of shades of the Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo – since I got my hands on the previous samples, I’ve been rather obsessed with this product for its gloss and lightweight feel that’s also packed with colour. However, I’ll repeat again, these are SO soft that you must use them very gently. They’re built to be a gloss/lipstick hybrid and full of plant oils and the texture is very melty. Keep them well out of the sun.

I think you can see in the swatch that it’s delivering a lot of product – this is literally one stroke. The shades are Histoire and Recit with Histoire being the more red version and Recit having more of a deep pink result.

Even though I’m red-shy, I’m wearing Histoire today – the sheen somehow dampens the intensity of red and it’s reminding me of that Mediterranean look that’s all about lightly tanned skin with a red lip and not much else. The Stylos launch on 22nd April, the same date as the new nail range and cost £26.

The bag, the bag! Where can I get the bag? The teenager in my life aches with this sentiment and would delight in a little gift which shows her that, in a small way, I understand.

Thank you so much. I went straight to their site and bought 2 gifts for the stressed, teenage lipstick lover
