Canmake Lip Tint Jam

I’m very lucky to have a blog friend who is Japanese (find her @nicintokyo on Twitter) – she sent me a beautiful parcel with the Fuchiko I’m obsessed with (more on Wednesday Diary) and this gorgeous Canmake Lip Tint Jam amongst other things. It’s a translucent formula with a barely there finish so starts off looking really natural but the colour gets a bit stronger over time. It does have a very slight sheen to it.

This shade (03 Plum Jam) is quite close to my natural lip colour, so it just does an intensifying thing that’s really pretty without a full make-up look. If anything, it looks like I have been naturally blessed with beautifully pigmented lips! The only thing that isn’t natural about it is the taste – it’s very sweet and I have to concentrate on not licking it off! You could definitely do a graduated lip effect with it by using one full coat, leaving it to dry and then another coat to the centre of the lips. Don’t use on dry or cracked lips.

I’ve looked around for a stockist that will ship and I think Ebay is your best bet – expect to pay around £9 for it. I’m really pleased to have it and I think it’s the best lip tint I’ve used.

I actually bought this when I was in Japan last month! The packaging is so tiny and gothic, I fell in love. I’ve been using it as a cheek stain too. I agree – it’s a lovely stain. I’d like more Canmake products!

  2. I love this packaging! The floral design feels so retro and cute. I haven’t tried anything from canmake myself but i love how princessy and ornate their products look!
btw, you can get canmake on yesstyle as well : )

I saw it on Yes Style but I don’t know the site so was hesitant to recommend it.. have you used it?

      1. Yes, I’ve ordered from them without problems!

I had nothing but problems with them…go to eBay. I would never use Yes Style again
