I’m definitely back on happy ground with the Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser that launches alongside the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder – it’s certainly a keeper for makeup-lite days. I use the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue (HERE) daily for something to stop me looking like the waking dead when I walk the dog in the morning but could easily see myself swapping about with the Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser.

The texture is very silky and it feels silky on the skin as well. It’s promising a sheer, nude finish and that’s pretty much what you get – a real ‘my skin but better’ product and it kept my skin feeling hydrated almost all day. Generally, if I’m going out I take off bareMinerals and put a higher coverage base on, and I’d do the same with Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser, so its really for anyone who likes a very natural look with tone evening and perfecting. It’s SPF15. There are seven shades and the one below is Light To Medium Tint.

One thing I found a little surprising is that petrolatum is listed as a key ingredient as a hydrating humectant that forms a veil on skin to lock in moisture. I think that may put some people off – personally, I’d expect something a little more forward thinking than that from Bobbi; surely there are ingredients that would work just as well. That said, for my personal use, it doesn’t bother me at all as long as the product is up to scratch, which it is. You can find Bobbi Brown Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser from April for £29.

Hi Jane, do you know if this is replacing the current TM?

I was going to get the serum foundation for its sheer finish, but perhaps I should wait for this instead. Hmm.

I don’t know.. they certainly didn’t say it was a replacement.

This looks like it doesn’t pull too yellow, either! bobbi brown foundation tends to be far too yellow toned for me (and I’m p. yellow to begin with!)

I would say it does err to yellow to be honest.
