I’ve been eyeing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Illuminator from afar so very pleased to have one now to review. This is coming up in Beauty Bay’s Best of The USA Box launching on 4th July (£58) along with other cult US brands. The boxes are split into two – LA or Miami and the Riviera shade is in the Miami Box.
As you can see, this is a hyper-glow – absolutely packed with light and metallic elements. It’s also rather hard to pin down the shade, because in some lights it looks golden bronze and in others it appears lighter. The main picture is the most accurate representation, but I took these pictures on different days – the main picture in bright sun and the rest with no sun. I’m glad I did because it does show how changeable these glow powders can be.
What’s not in any doubt is the extreme sheen this throw off. Obviously, it’s swatched at intensity here, so you’re unlikely to ever wear it at this strength on your face (are you?!!!) but it’s incredibly light catchy. I’m going to try this on my lids – I just want to see what happens.
