Amazing Concealer Foundation

Given that Amazing Concealer concealer is one of my all time favourite concealers (only recently usurped by Make Up For Ever 3D Concealer) it was a given that I’d like this. However, when I first squeezed it out of the tube, Amazing Concealer Foundation didn’t look as promising as expected. It’s quite thick and yet, strangely lacking in pigment.

Once I got going with applying it, the first application was a very light coverage – more like a BB actually – but I took it to a second application and am very glad I did. This gave a medium coverage with a slight skin sheen, and far from feeling dry, it actually feels skin softening and hydrating as well as giving a smooth, tone perfecting finish. Amazing Concealer Foundation is a good option for older skin; peptides, anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals and an ingredient to mimic skin’s hyaluronic acid all seem to add up to something rather flattering and smoothing.

Medium Beige is the perfect skin match for me – I’ve just found the Concealer on offer for £16.60 instead of £19.50 (HERE) but the Amazing Concealer Foundation hasn’t launched quite yet. Do keep your eyes peeled (I’ll flag it if I spot it). It’s a small shade selection – Fair, Light, Golden, Medium Beige, Medium Golden and Tan Golden and it’s £27.99.

Which concealer do you like best, and what colour do you use, I am looking for a good under eye concealer that does not make under eye wrinkles worse.

Also could you tell me what your best make up brushes are, I am looking for a good set that is suitable for sensitive skin .

Thanks for your blog I love reading it

Hi Junie… okay I think the MUFE HD concealer pips Amazing Concealer to the post – I am using currently in MUFE R32. Depending on budget, take a look at Artis brushes because I find them incredibly soft and use them a lot – but otherwise, I was impressed with Nanshy, but I don’t have sensitive skin x

      sorry, Ultra HD x

  4. I’ve never seen MUFE products on sale anywhere (dept store, Boots and so on) except online — so how on earth do you choose the right shade?

    1. Jane

It’s in store at Debenhams… but not sure if nationwide or just larger Debs.

You can buy samples of MUFE HD Ultra foundation for £1 each at http://www.gurumakeupemporium.com/epages/BT4080.mobile/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT4080/Products/80%5B7%5D

I have done so myself, I bought 3 samples in the lightest shades as I have fair skin and there were 2 that I could use :-).
