Sun and a whippy breeze? Perfect conditions except for your hair! It has taken just over 24 hours by an English beach for my hair to say no to any brushing – I really don’t need to use a detangler often; I can count the days on one hand, but that double element of salt in the breeze and I can say I was glad I took this with me to test. Particularly the following morning.
I always take notice of when a product is a best seller in another country – this sells literally by the vat-load in the US and I wanted to know why. I’ve used the conditioner before (it’s great if you have really dry hair – but I”d recommend a detox wash every few times because it contains waxes and coconut oil) and also on Honey if she is particularly in need of conditioning. So, back to Detangler. It does contain silicones but I’m not sure you can get effective detangling without to be honest, but it’s also got meadowseed, horse chestnut and clover extracts amongst others.
For ‘tugs’ you can do an all over spritz (you might need to do the under layers as well but don’t OVER-do) but for real knots, spray well onto the actual knot and then work gently round it with a brush to prevent any breakage. My niece has very long hair – fine, but lots of it – and overnight that child turns from sleek to a fuzz ball so I’m sending her a bottle for her holiday because if you add the sea to that situation, it’s more than my sister can handle! It’s on offer at Superdrug HERE for £5.32.
