John Frieda Frizz Ease Weightless Wonder

[productsample/affiliate] I was pretty keen to try this as it seems to be exactly what my hair needs right now.

My hair used to be really thick, but while it’s by no means thin, its texture has changed over the years so that it’s far happier with lighter weight shampoos and conditioners, bolstered every now and again by a conditioning mask or intensive treatment. The Weightless Wonder shampoo and conditioner from John Frieda does a great job of cleansing hair without stripping or weighing down. I don’t tend to double wash unless it’s really needed and definitely didn’t need to with this – one wash was absolutely fine.

To the conditioner, I added TIGI Copyright Shine Booster (it’s only available in salons, £16) and that was a great combination. Because the JF conditioner is super-light, I could add in the booster without excess weight – and yes, I got a really good shine from it! A combination of coconut oil and cassia leaf oil seem to give extra gloss and my hair felt extra swishy thanks to that and a lack of product weight from the JF. It’s (accidentally) a match made in heaven although I’d use the booster with any product, I think because who doesn’t want extra shine? So, Weightless Wonder is right for fine hair that gets easily weighed down, but still needs some nourishment as well as cleansing. £5.99 well spent, HERE.
