Invisibobble Nano

It’s not earthshaking, but I’m always happy to write about Invisibobble because I use them more or less every night. Whenever I do write about them, people always comment that they get unbranded ties that are just as good. But I can quite honestly say that has never been the case for me – Invisibobbles hang onto their shape for longer – the more basic versions that I’ve tried are all out of curl by the second night and I might as well be tying any old bit of plastic in my hair.

Anyway, the point about these ringlet looking things is that they don’t leave a big ridge around your hair if you tie it up at night and nor do they make your hair feel tight on your scalp like elastic can.  There are a couple of new versions on their way – the extra strong grip for big hair that can wander and needs extra holding power (maybe for the gym or swimming) and the nano for styling (think festival braids). The nano is teeny weeny and I can really see it becoming a stylist tool for all kinds of things, and if you do like braiding, look out for them. The Invisibobble Nano hasn’t launched here yet – it looks like the US and Germany have pipped us to the pot!

I agree , I bought a few cheap versions as I’ve lost all my invisibobbles and they came apart ( I have very thick hair) plus if your a wrist wearer of bobbles you don’t get a nasty indent or a soggy wrist If you wear them in the shower .

When they stretch, all you need to do is put them in hot water for a bit and they are as good as new.
