Sainsburys Christmas Spice Scented Candle

[purchase] I will never again walk past a Sainsburys candle and assume it won’t be up to much. This little gem – at £3 – scented my whole kitchen with cinnamon and spices. I think I had one last year and completely forgot how nice it is.

Sainsburys Christmas Spice Scented Candle

I’m always pleased to see a robin when I’m outside gardening – they’re such opportunists… why do the digging yourself when there’s someone else to do it for you! In the summer, I had one that got so close – literally at my side while I was kneeling and I thought it was going to hop onto my knee – that the boring job of weeding became something I looked forward to. Anyway, this is a good £3 (I think it may have been on offer) spent to bring some sweet spice into your home – it changed slightly as time went on to being more floral … and it’s not Diptyque – but it’s a jolly thing to throw in your trolley or basket for a mood boost. It’s the only one that doesn’t seem to be on-line at the moment so it’s a question of snapping it up if you see it.

Sainsburys doesn’t exist in the US (though I’d go buy this if it did!), so I’ll just say that while I appreciate robins, a pair always nests in a neighbor’s tree near my garden and they are so territorial of their nests that they took several runs at me until they finally got close enough that they ruffled my hair. I stopped working in that part of the garden for a few days!

    Thanks, Jane!

Yes, I believe the secret lives of robins aren’t that nice.. they can be really aggressive, especially to each other 🙁

I picked up this candle today in their sale after reading this post- £3.75 for the larger size that’s usually £5 and it comes in a lovely wee cloth gift bag too. Although it’s a floral pattern rather than robin design, they didn’t have a robin design at all in store.
Smells amazing, thanks for the tip!
