[productsample/affiliate] I’m not sure what I expected from this fragrance, but it certainly wasn’t the light, fruity-and-fresh floral. The juice is more delicate than the bottle, that’s for sure.
I really haven’t warmed to Moschino fragrances in the past although I still have the cuddly teddy of Moschino Toy still in it’s packaging. At a recent fragrance showcase, they had a giant bear bottle surrounded by flowers sitting on top of a bed .. see below.
There’s a distinctly orangey note that comes through and after that, to my nose, a kick of jasmine. There’s a slightly soapy aspect to it but bearing in mind that other notes include apple, magnolia and white-currant, I’m not entirely sure where that comes from. The base is amberwood, sandalwood and musk. Despite the grandiosity of the bottle, it feels more of an every day fragrance than an occasion fragrance – nothing wrong with that, obviously, but again, it’s just going against my expectations. I’m a sucker for anything mini-size so I’m almost more happy to have the sample size than the full!
I’m not sure its quite as lovely when the head is off though. #justsayin. If you like the sound and look of this, Escentual has it (discounted) at £38.50, 30ml HERE. Non aff HERE.
