L’Occitane Les Miniatures Eaux de Toilettes Collection

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] We’re still on the fragrance miniature theme (with more to come), this time with L’Occitane who have nicely gift-boxed their best sellers.

L’Occitane Les Miniatures Eaux de Toilettes Collection

L’Occitane always features somewhere in my family Christmas – we have never tired of this brand somehow. My dad requested a L’Occitane deodorant for his present and I think if you’re 85 and still looking at luxury grooming options, things are ok. So, on to the set in hand – a trio of floral based fragrances in beautiful mini bottles.

Les Miniatures

The bottles are all glass so have that lovely cool hand-feel and the scents are Neroli & Orchidee, Terre de Lumiere L’Eau and Cherry Blossom, so you’re getting a good mix of notes and moods. They’re 7.50ml with the exception of Terre de Lumiere which is 5ml.

Les Miniatures

Neroli & Orchidee is a warm, sweet floral and a perfect fusion of both – with a kick of lily of the valley which my nose picks out straight away. I also think I’m getting a bit of Magnolia which I suspect is the Orchid. Terre de Lumiere is more of a gourmande fragrance than anything but think honey and almond before you think shakes and cakes. It’s not my favourite but it’s the L’Eau version so pleasantly light. My favourite incarnation of Cherry Blossom is the Happy Cherry but the original version is nicely fruity-floral and has a soapy backdrop. Overall, if you don’t like sweet fragrances, this isn’t for you, but if you do err to the sweeter side of things, it’s a joy to dip in and out of. I’m simultaneously wearing both Neroli & Orchidee and Cherry Blossom and rather enjoying myself :-). It’s £19 (value of £26) HERE, non affiliate HERE.
