[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If you have an extra special occasion to buy for, the Jo Malone London limited edition bottles are always worth considering. I like them for bridesmaid gifts, brides and anyone who wants to mark the day with a keepsake forever. I wonder if, in the future, they’ll be considered collectables.

This one, for International Women’s Day and to support their charity partner, Pheonix Futures, is particularly lovely with an intricate floral illustration that leaps to life in the sunshine. £20 of the RRP goes the charity which provides women with specialist services for mental health and confidence building, amongst other very worthwhile outreach.

If you don’t know this fragrance, it’s a bit of a surprise – to me it sounds gentle and understated but there are honeyed apple-y notes mingling with jasmine and rose making it very spring-like and optimistic. It’s kind of a happy day fragrance that’s light, bright and smooth. I mark it as a ‘special occasion’ fragrance because it’s £108 (£20 of which goes to Phoenix) although that does qualify you for free postage and a scented sample for yourself. You can actually get the bottle engraved (I think – the front is completely free of pattern) for £15 although it’s free if you’re choosing from some of the specially selected products HERE. There’s also a heart-shaped box that is free if you use the code WITHLOVE and that offer ends on 16th March. I feel like I know the Jo Malone London website inside out now. The special edition Peony & Blush Suede Cologne is HERE.
