A shameless treat-to-self here! I spotted this candle on Twitter so ordered it immediately. It’s taken a long time to arrive – I’d actually forgotten about it so it was extra nice when it turned up.
It’s as kitsch as you might expect with a watermelon scent (not as good as Sunday Rain but not bad either) and you purchase the candle and the lid separately – I think I paid £16.99 all in. To be honest, it’s just a white candle without the lid so you do need to have both if the Hello Kitty vibe is what you’re going for.
As you can tell from the glow, the wax is pink (of course). There are several options for Hello Kitty theming – a yellow version in Cherry Cola scent, a green one in Coconut Rose, plus several decorated smaller candle tins. The one I really wanted was in red but it’s sold out. Anyway, they’re HERE if you fancy a bit of whimsy in your life.
