I think you’d rightfully expect a brand called the English Soap Company to do soap better than they do candles, but I feel that these are quite a find. I have the Lily of the Valley version in my kitchen wafting a beautiful, discernable floral scent through to my office. With candles easily topping the £30 mark – and well beyond in some cases – these, for £9.95 are excellent.
I’ve been browsing the site (HERE) and although I know we’re nowhere near it, they’ve got some very quirky festive candles… Vintage Toys, Winter Village and Angel, which I’m definitely trying when we get closer. Lily of The Valley is a true scent – it does smell exactly of the namesake flower and all of the candles are soy wax. I did notice the finish on Enchanted Blooms was a bit off – and yet its perfect on Lily. There isn’t a huge selection, but Summer Rose and Lemon & Mandarin are calling my name, based on my experience of Lily. Seriously, bargain candles for the scent throw and quality.
