Elizabeth Arden White Tea Mandarin Blossom

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If you like a tea based fragrance with a bit of citrus this is for you. The newest version of White Tea is a lovely, fresh formulation that is great for summery days.

The tea is still very present while the mandarin lends green notes with a little bit of sharp citrus that is softened by the wrapping of the more dominant aspects.

The settle is lightly musky – I’ve seen it described as ‘an ocean mist on warm skin’ which I just cannot marry up with the sort of gardeny aroma that it reminds me of. Mind you, I’ve also seen it described as ‘clean sheets’ and ‘new book’ which I sort of understand more. With little chance to try easily in store, I think I’d settle for saying light orange tea with a splash of fresh washing, will take you close if you can imagine such a thing. It’s lovely – nothing not to like – a good every-day-er without being obtrusive or attention seeking. You can find it for £40 HERE (free postage), non affiliate HERE.

White Tea original is a cracking fragrance, very wearable and with just enough iris to last and smell grown up, fresh and not sweet all (hooray). This could well be another one for my collection, off for a try in a bit.
I really wish EA would sort themselves and their website out a bit. Quite underwhelming to be polite.
    Have a good Monday Jane x x
