There’s really a mood of change across beauty world at the moment – everyone is unsettled and I suppose you might say nervous about what’s round the corner. We’re in unchartered waters all of the time with social media and the relentless barrage that surrounds it – sometimes reassurance is just all you want. So perhaps it’s not surprising that the products that are the most pleasure to review at the moment are the ones that don’t demand anything of you other than to sit back and enjoy.
A case in point is this gorgeous candle from Ecoya full of fruity notes that are generous and happy. There is a sweet edge to it, evident from the moment you lift the silver lid and I’d say it’s more guava than lychee. Nonetheless, if you need a blast of tropical, smile making pleasure, this is it.
