Diptyque Perfumed Stickers

[productsample/affiliate] So, the second part of the Diptyque Prets-A-Parfumer collection is a set of perfumed stickers. The third non-traditional fragrance piece is a bracelet which I don’t have but I am ever so pleased with these fragranced embellishments.

Diptyque Perfumed Stickers

These take their inspiration from shadow puppets – more evident if you see the swan shapes, I think, which are fragranced with L’Ombre dans L’Eau. They’re made from a matt satin material that’s sticky (not tacky) on the back and you should get several wears from each one (although do remember to put them back in the packet when not wearing. At the moment, there is only the swan that has been uploaded but the others, rose and tuberose motifs, will follow soon. They come housed in a box that’s the same as the bird brooch from yesterday so there is definitely an air of luxury to the packaging.

I absolutely love them – they’re really my kind of thing and I’d easily wear on my inner wrist just visible underneath a black sweater. Shame they can’t make HRT patches as interesting! Think of these stickers as mobile diffusers – moving wherever you go – unlike regular perfume, you get a visual reminder to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. I showed them to a friend today who said ‘I’d never buy them for myself but if someone gave me them for my birthday I’d be absolutely thrilled’. At £42 for five (HERE), they’re exactly the sort of thing you might hope your best friend gives you, but can’t quite justify for yourself. I suspect they’re aimed heavily at the festive season, so anything could happen when a generous mood strikes.

I like this better than the brooch. It is a scented removable tattoo! You know they need to come out with earrings next!
