Diptyque Holiday Pocket Set

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Diptyque is always so seductive at Christmas – their festive collections are always spot on and thanks to a change up in design every year, beautifully decorative. It’s a feature of the design that the glass holder absolutely glows as the candle burns down making it sing with light as well as fragrance. Starting, though, with the Holiday Pocket Set which amuses me no end because I can’t imagine being in a situation that requires a candle, bath oil and soap in my pocket – but who knows, maybe one day it will happen!

The set contains a mini Baies candle, a mini L’Ombre dans L’Eau bath oil and a small L’Ombre dans L’Eau soap so I can see how lovely this would be to pop in a guest bathroom as a treat or take away on a special weekend (it doesn’t need to be said that if you like it for yourself you don’t need any sort of reason!).

I’ve wrapped it in lights because if I was having guests this year, this is exactly how I’d have it for them to find. I think it’s sweet, if pricy at £38 HERE, non affiliate HERE.

Roi Majeste Candle

This year’s illustrations are by Ugo Gattoni who creates fantastical cityscapes and otherworldly landscapes. He’s already caught the attention of Hermes, Nike, Hennessey and Rolex. The Roi Majeste candle depicts a lion in a snowy Paris.

The fragrance is a generous spicy floral, almost incense-like, so it certainly has the olfactory feel for the season. You’ll pick up rose, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg making it a wonderful alternative to pine notes.

The 70g version – which will see you through, I reckon – is £38 HERE, non-affiliate is HERE and the 190g is £58.

A lion in Paris! How dramatic and furbulous. The scents sound lovely. Going to have a closer look, thanks Jane! And lovely photos x
