Dior J’Adore Eau de Parfum Infinissime

[unpaid/sample] I’m in my comfort zone with Dior fragrances, although can recognise they’ve got heavier on popular notes – I can definitely detect vanilla in this newest offering, designed to be the more sensual version of the J’Adore family.

Dior J’Adore Eau de Parfum Infinissime

I like New Look 1947 and Grand Bal from La Collection Privee as Dior absolute preferences and am partial to a spritz of Miss Dior but I loved the J’Adore hair mist of a few years ago (I don’t know if it still exists but what a treat!). This fragrance is predominantly rose and jasmine first in the sweet-floral thread typical of the brand’s signature but also includes bergamot, orange, pink pepper, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang, tuberose and sandalwood – I can see what they mean about it being a more sensual version as there is a heady, night time depth to it.

Dior J’Adore Eau de Parfum Infinissime

It’s definitely a pleaser – the sort of non-taxing, creamy fragrance that you can just sit back and enjoy without having to explore any complexities at all and right now, anything that doesn’t fuddle my brain is good! It’s like breathing in the scent of a gorgeous bouquet with a satisfactory olfactory hit that says all is well. The longevity is good – it saw me through the day, going back for sniffs throughout which is always a good sign. It’s very well worth visiting Dior HERE to read the nose notes which bring it to life far better than I can. Prices start at £110 (which surprised me).

Um how many flankers now for J’adore? I’m losing interest and patience with the perfume world for this increasing trend of Noir / Day / Intense / Light / Night / Nightshirt / Kiss / Slurp flankers in best selling ranges. Especially as they last about 2-3 seasons and then disappear. It gets confusing to say the least! Interesting how the prices increase for each flanker too.

I thought it was pricey! I’d agree with you in part but I fell 100% for the Chanel bed time fragrance – hook, line and sinker :-))

Completely agree – Dior’s pricing does leave me scratching my head quite a lot. I do love the Chanel Coco M night too sssshh! Chanel mercifully haven’t quite got the levels of perfumed flankeritis some of the other brands suffer from. I wonder if we will get any nice festive treats from Chanel?

I think I read though that they put their bag prices up by 18% :-)))
