Even though I’ve got a backlog of beauty products to review, I can’t not share this genius concept discovered by my daughter, Lucy. If you struggle to get the right fit jeans, which I do, Zozosuit uses a precise measuring system that creates a 3D model of your body (digitally, obviously – you won’t be immortalised in plastic) so that they can tailor make your exact fit. All those little dots you see on the suit top above are measuring points.
As you can see, the suit isn’t something you’d leave the house in (although the Scummy Mummies look pretty cool in their gold body suits) but it’s easy enough to put on and then it’s just a matter of downloading the Zozosuit app and following the instructions from there. It’s easy, although I managed to mess it up by downloading to my laptop instead and you do need a smart phone for this to work. Lucy has done hers (properly, first time) and is currently waiting for a pair of perfect fit jeans and a perfect fit t-shirt which are made exactly to the dimensions you record. In terms of pricing, jeans are EU59, shirts, EU49 and T-Shirts EU22 which I think is not bad at all. I’ve been looking at a pair of Massimo Dutti jeans for £60 so it’s comparable with that. My problems with most jeans include legs being too long (because I’m 5ft 3ins) and being too tight round the middle – if I get it right on the middle, they’re too loose on the legs. Sigh.
At the moment, the Zozosuit is free (I think you pay nominal postage) – once I’ve sorted out the mess up I’m going for the skinny jeans; the thought that I can just order up jeans that I know will fit seems like the absolute dream. Zozosuit say they cater to one size – yours – and it’s a way of eliminating judgmental sizing (I get anxious if size 12 starts to feel snug) because it’s a size free system; you don’t have to put a number label on your body – the clothes are just made to the shape you have. Anyway, it’s HERE. Please let me know if you order – I’m excited for this!
