Friday Treat L’ERA Jewellery

[unpaid/sample] Back on the small brand trail this week and a new jewellery discovery. Actually, they got in touch via email and asked me to take a look at the range and if I wanted, they’d send a couple of items. I get many non-beauty offers like this and very rarely take them up but when I saw the range, I genuinely loved it. I like understated jewellery – you’ll have seen a variety of fine chain bracelets on my swatching pictures over the years but none in recent months because they all bit the dust. I wear my jewellery, don’t take it off in the bath or shower or overnight and just enjoy it for the time it lasts. I don’t have a lot of ‘fine’ jewellery and I take a bit more care of those items, but for vermeil (gold plating – in this instance, L’ERA uses gold plating that is ten times thicker than the average so it has more durability and longevity than your average) I’m more carefree.

L’ERA Jewellery

This is the Paperclip Bracelet (I had some photography help from Genevieve at @thisisfifty and this was taken by a random pot plant in Fenwick on Wednesday!) and as soon as I put it on, it felt like mine. It will stay on now because it goes with absolutely everything. L’ERA Jewellery was founded last year by mother and daughter duo, Angele and Lara (so I see where the name L’ERA comes from!).  It’s not just vermeil, but a selection of all options including lab grown diamonds which are absolutely stunning. They also sent me a perfect, simple necklace which I’ll show at a later date. If I’d seen it in a shop I would have bought it straight away – it could not be more me!

Here it is again – accompanied by a glass of Cotes de Provence. I’m wearing it with my black jumpsuit in this picture and today I’m wearing it with jeans so it’s truly versatile. It’s £85 in silver and £95 in gold which I feel is reasonable for the quality – the clip to take on and off is much easier to use than other fine chain bracelets I’ve had in the past (on that basis, maybe I will spare it a hot bath or two) and that feels important because there’s nothing more frustrating that trying to take off a ridiculously fine and fiddly chain. Anyway, please do take a look at the site if you have the same taste in jewellery as me – everything is so stylish and easy to wear. The Paperclip Bracelet is HERE. You can get 20% off (anything) using code JANE20.

Oh great – so glad you like them. I have a necklace too which I’ll show in due course.

That’s a lovely piece. It looks as though it perfectly meets the brief of being properly good quality but at a price that means you can enjoy wearing it on repeat, instead of feeling it needs to be saved ‘for best’.

exactly that! I haven’t taken it off since I put it on 🙂

  3. Such lovely items!
