Friday Treat: H&M Home x Pantone

[unpaid/affiliate] What very much cheered up walking down Regent Street in the rain yesterday was passing H&M Home and spotting their new Pantone collaboration. The things we are short on in this house is trays – we don’t need them often but when we do we literally only have one. I do have a round metal Disney tray that was from my Grandma’s house – it’s gorgeous – but I’d have to be desperate to use it because it’s so precious.

The collaboration with Pantone has certainly pushed up the prices because these are £34.99 HERE each but I guess once you have a tray you have it forever so it’s probably worth the extra investment. They look very tempting for one of life’s great pleasures – a TV dinner.

Easily next on my list are these candles – I’m immediately thinking little plant pots when they’re burned away. I like the Light Pink with salted sea scent and the Light Orange with yuzu blossom scent. At £17.99 HERE, I’m thinking also what great gifts for spring birthdays.

I’m on the fence about these ceramics but the dish has caught my imagination for easter eggs, fondant fancies or any little sweetie pots. It’s not actually up online yet but the vase is and it’s £34.99 HERE in pink or blue. Vases are the kind of thing that just somehow accumulate and it’s hard to throw or give them away just in case which is why I have a whole cupboard of them but only a fraction see the light of day. Anything you’ve accumulated and can’t quite let go of? I’d love to know 🙂

Absolutely love the trays and candles Jane. Great for home, great for gifts. Thanks for highlighting these.

Do you know if the candle holders are totally opaque ceramic or will there be some glow through when lit? Hope they glow. I honestly can never see the point in a candle holder that is solid or opaque.

I’ll raise you on your vases. I’ve got a collection of mugs from a Hotel that we like in Rhodes. They gift them when you visit. They are white and nice enough but they have the Hotel logo on them! I can’t get rid of them because, well I don’t actually know…….. I mean you never know…………

haha – yes I hear you – there might suddenly be urgent need for 25 mugs at once.. you just don’t knowwwww – no I saw them instore on Weds and I don’t think there is any glow through.

Oooh ping! Pops of pretty colours and practical too. I love these and the Regent Street is so bad for my budget. It’s a brilliant piece of retail and merchandising.
I can’t let go of my older Bourjois lipsticks and eyeshadows. Such happy memories and before the brand disappeared and returned to our side of the Channel.
Same for some vases my parents (both have passed away) collected. All sizes, all colours and I like to use them.
    Happy Friday Jane, everyone xxx

ooh I totally understand about Bourjois hoarding… I am the same with Paul & Joe, just cannot let them go. Happy weekend to you 🙂
