[unpaid/affiliate} I’m flagging up that H&M has gone early on their £19.99 linen shirts. I bought three last year (Lucy bought two) and still, I couldn’t resist picking another up when I spotted them in my local store.
This shade is called coral pink on the website but to me, it’s more of a geranium colour – very vibrant and lively. I wore my previous purchases on repeat last year so I’m expecting to do the same with this – it’s just the easiest thing to wear regardless of age, shape or size. I tend to wear mine as you see it – sleeves rolled, open with a top underneath and almost always with jeans: on very hot days, it can double as a jacket if you think the sun will be strong.
These shirts are just great basics HERE, going from XS to 4XL which is great. I’d advise you, if you’d like one, to buy sooner rather than later – they sold out last year well before I was finished buying them! There are some more pricy ones but the cuffs are bizarrely wide – they’d flap about and make rolling up very tricky. I bought a couple more things – accidentally, an oversize white shirt, and a top I thought would suit me but didn’t and then lost the receipt so I have to do an exchange – which to be honest, is easily done!
I also bought a bright pink linen v-neck t-shirt which isn’t yet on-line but there is currently a choice of five shades including a pale pink and the white you see above. Again, a snip at £14.99 HERE – I don’t particularly like round necks anymore so I can’t walk past a decent v-neck because they’re so rare!
