I feel like giving a round of applause to the person who thought to put pineapple and rose together. It shouldn’t work but it really, really works! Obviously, it’s a fruity-floral, but down-notes of Prosecco? It’s a very quirky mix!
Although there are many notes in the Crabtree & Evelyn Rose Pineapple Solid Fragrance, it doesn’t smell like a complex fragrance – it’s exactly what you’d think – rose and pineapple, so you get a sweet burst of pineapple followed by the soft floral rose scent. It’s slightly candy-ish with no sharp edges and in truth, isn’t a long-laster on the skin. It’s more of a mood of the moment product without a commitment to great longevity: I don’t mind that in this solid format. That little golden pot is easy to throw into a bag or purse and replenish with a sweep of balm to the wrist whenever you feel like it for a fresh burst of the fragrance.
I love the price of £18 because it feels more special than that, and Crabtree & Evelyn Rose Pineapple Solid Fragrance launches on 2nd November.
