Sol de Janeiro Glowmotions Glow Oil

[productsample/affiliatelink] The rain is literally sheeting down today so I’ve decided just to do fun stuff to cheer up the mood. While I KNOW the garden needs rain and all the crops but I didn’t think that on the 10th of June I’d be walking Honey in a full on rain coat and wellies.

As glow oils go, this is one of the loveliest that I’ve come across with only Fenty Body Lava coming in at the same quality and finish. Sol de Janeiro has made it their own, so to speak, by adding copious amounts of fig-gardenia fragrance (although I swear I strongly smell coconut) which, if you’re in the holiday mood, is a delicious and intoxicating as a pina colada.

I think the above swatch will either delight or terrify – there is so much light and glow to this liquid body highlighter even on such a dull and gloomy day. However, the magic happens when you apply it to your body – treat it as you would any body oil and it gives a seamless, diffused light-on-skin effect that looks beautiful.

Even in this rubbish light you can see the effect. So, you can take it as high beam or as subtle as you like. If you want to dial it down, just add a few drops to your body moisturiser or after-sun, but if you want to up the light level, use it neat and build it up. The oil itself is fairly light – easy to blend and skin softening.

There are five shades but nobody has all five so I’m directing you to FeelUnique who have an offer of a free body mask with each purchase. If you’re pale opt for iridescent Master Flash (although frankly all of these shades are perfect for every skin tone depending upon how you want to wear them). I have Rio Sunset above which isn’t in stock but you can easily swap in Goldie Rocks or go all in gold with Samba Sway. They’re £35 each HERE, non aff HERE.
