Although Show Beauty is more about hair, out of the blue, they’ve brought out a rather delicious shimmery body oil. As you can see, it’s high on shimmer although massaged over limbs doesn’t give a metallic effect, just more of a gentle twinkle. However, this is a bit different because it’s a very fine, light oil that makes skin feel very, very soft. I have it all over one arm and have had for several hours and there is still a big difference in the feel of the arm that has the oil on it in terms of skin silkiness.
Mainly what you’re seeing in the swatch is the sheen from the oil (which does dissipate after a time) rather than the shimmer.. you’d have to bath in it to turn as gold as the liquid itself. But, if you like that light-hit, twinkly skin look, this is lovely. The oils are argan and jojoba, with aloe vera and Vitamin E so we’re not talking hugely expensive oils (and this is £35), but the blend is one that moves about easily on the skin and doesn’t feel heavy. I wasn’t entirely sure what the dropper was for but I guess if you are just applying to shoulders or specific points then it’s useful, but at the same time the oil is very liquid and runny so it’s definitely a before-you-get-dressed product, rather than a finishing point.
