Origins Feel Good Soap Set

Origins Feel Good Soap Set

Although I’m having a bit of a romance with Jo Malone hand washes (orange blossom… it’s an addiction) I’ve also got solid soaps everywhere. Currently, some tiny Clarins ones that we er, acquired, at a hotel, the lime shaped ones from Bronnley and I finally cracked and opened my precious Chanel No.5 soap that I’ve been hanging onto for I can’t even remember how long. Solid soaps are very welcome and very lovely for their tactile, cleansing and aromatic nature.

Origins Feel Good Soap Set

The four fragranced soaps in the Origins Feel Good Soap set are all of the simple pleasures – and limited edition. They’re actually very aromatic, particularly the Cinnamon & Amyris (floral, citrus) that’s sharp and spicy, although if you’re a Jo Malone fan you’ll like the Orange, Lemon & Basil. I even like the Sage & Patchouli that’s slightly antiseptic smelling but also fresh and herby. Rose & Geranium is the least interesting but the most familiar with a summery, smile making scent. Each soap is individually wrapped to keep the scent lasting until you’re ready to use it. I have no idea what the ‘bits’ are as I can’t find it anywhere, but they give it a slightly grainy texture that’s pleasant.

The set of four soaps is £20 (actually on offer from £30) HERE which I think is great value – I’d hoard for gifts and treat myself at the same time!

Tell you what, a “bitty” soap is fantastic for cleaning make up brushes, it abrades the hairs to get the product off. They’re also good for stubborn dirt as from gardening or polishing shoes.
