New Japanese Cleansing Cloud : Yuzu & Nashi Pear

[ownbrand] Spring has sprung and I’m celebrating the joy of sunshine (sometimes!) and the scent of fruity blossom with a brand new cloud – Yuzu & Nashi Pear. This little cleansing balm bar has the mighty power to make you smile while treating your skin with the gentlest of touches.

I’ve had such great feedback from the release of the first Cloud which exceeded all my expectations – to the point that we could not keep up. I have the most understanding retailer in the world (thank you Gill!) in Victoria Health who took a chance on me in more ways than one. The saponified formula is carefully hand made to the tipping point between a cleansing oil and a soft, skin-kind solid balm soap. Intended as an ‘everywhere’ bar, you can use the Japanese Cleansing Cloud for hydrating hand washing, in the shower for a morning-fresh complexion cleanse or take your time in the bath to lather up and relax. The Clouds are made in Wales in small batches then hand cut and stamped for the best possible quality and freshness – we sell out quickly but there will always be more on the way.

New Japanese Cleansing Cloud Yuzu & Nashi Pear

Just some of the comments I’ve had about the Japanese Cleansing Cloud are ‘a ray of sunshine’, ‘all kinds of wonderful’, ‘fits perfectly in your hand when showering and is so gentle on the skin, and of course no packaging so great for the environment.’ It’s the most nerve-wracking process, releasing something a) in lockdown and b) with no idea that anyone else will think it’s a great idea too. So, it’s a bit the same again with a new version – all the same nerves and excitement, but I’m really so happy with the way Yuzu & Nashi Pear has turned out with its ‘make you smile’ aroma. Something interesting – when I made the Cloud I had not assigned it a gender identity – and still haven’t – but people seem to settle for he, she or they quite naturally with whatever feels right for them which is unexpected but a delight.

The Clouds are safe and effective to use anywhere – Meadowfoam Seed Oi, Avocado Oil and Hemp Seed Oil are high in fatty acids which help to keep skin supple and hydrated. Rice Milk is gently exfoliating and packed with antioxidants for smooth and protected skin. I’ve forgone fancy packaging in favour of a simple biodegradable wrap because it’s more minimal on the environment and keeps the price fair. £12/100g at victoriahealth.com HERE. Victoria Health are very speedy on posting so you will probably have it tomorrow if you order today.

Simply one of the most wonderful launches, I know you don’t think of yourself as an “influencer” but I’d buy one of these over yet another eyeshadow palette any day. Just so well thought out at every aspect and exactly the sort of thing I’d have looked around the shops and thought, why can’t I find a cleanser exactly like that? I got one of the originals but will have to wait until I can get back to the UK for this perfect sunshine yellow version!!! Well done Jane, you must be so proud.

Wonder if Victoria Health post to Australia. What else do I need from them?

    1. Jane Cunningham

They post to most places but I’m not sure about Australia. Current raves from there are Alpha Arbutin (pigmentation) and Neurophroline serums… 🙂
