Bare Feet is the range for Marks & Spencer from Margaret Dabbs who has a stronghold on expertise in keeping feet in tip top condition. The product from the range that I really love is the Cooling Foot Spray (£9.50) because it really does take down the heat if you’ve been on your feet all day.
One of the things I really noticed is that it doesn’t have any medical or antiseptic smell which foot products can often have. While it is mainly alcohol, it does contain ginger extract, Manuka honey and menthol (derivative) which is why it does give an instant cool and refresh. I’m writing this on a very cloudy and rainy day and actually what I want on my feet are some jolly warm socks! However, flip flop weather is just around the corner, so this might be a handy addition to your summer heat busting stash.
Also in the range is an exfoliating foot scrub (£8.50) – luckily I don’t get a lot of hard skin on my feet but I want to keep it that way! The Foot Cream is actually very light but also highly emolient – it dries quickly without a greasy finish (in fact it feels lightly powdery) and has an anti-bacterial element. You do need this if you don’t want – sorry to say it – cheesy feet! An important note is that there is no emu oil in this – in her main range, Margaret Dabbs uses it, but M&S has the Leaping Bunny logo so it doesn’t feature in this range.
The Bare Feet by Margaret Dabbs collection is quite extensive but – typically – the one thing I can’t find on the M&S website is the Foot Cream (very tempted by the Foot Soak though – how lovely after a day walking around in heels) but you should be able to pick it up in store if you wish to do so. The collection is HERE.
