There is a signature that runs though all of the Laura Mercier body and bath products – a strong vanilla sweetness. If you love that gourmande undertone, you will be in all kinds of heaven with the Laura Mercier Tea Menthe Citron Body range. It doesn’t sound like it should smell sweet, but it does, but this range is different because it has a fresh sharpness to it, as well.
Apparently inspired by a trip to Tunisia, the blend of tea, mint leaves, cardamom and cedarwood makes for a rounded, cooling, coconut water infused body experience. You need to love the sugary undertones though. I’ve actually never bought Laura Mercier Body for myself – I always think of it as a gifting range for some reason, and have given it to friends as gifts with no complaints (not that they’d be so rude!).
The Body Moisturiser (£34) is a gel/cream so lighter than usual – I found it to be very moisturising and the scent lingers a long time. In fact, I’d say you can bypass the actual fragrance because the moisturiser seems to be so long lasting. I haven’t dipped into the Body Cleanser (£25) yet, so this is more of a head’s up post on a range that’s purely about treats – to yourself or anyone else.
