Crabtree & Evelyn Spiced Honey Bath Syrup

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] February has been a tricky month, weather-wise. One minute we are full on winter and the next it feels almost like summer. But, there is still a nip in the air (at least where I am) and a hot bath feels like the right way to round off the day.

New launch, The Gardeners Spiced Honey Bath Syrup is absolutely hitting the spot in terms of comfort and care. It’s a richly scented mix of manuka honey, ginger and vanilla (they say ‘whipped vanilla’ – how does vanilla get whipped exactly?!) that creates a fragrance you want to sink into. The addition of coconut oil means it doesn’t dry your skin so you can soak as long as you like. There’s a nicely soft foam to give it a specially decadent feel – it’s £31.50 which I think is expensive for a bath soak even if the vanilla has been whipped into a frenzy but it does feel like a proper treat.

Crabtree & Evelyn Lip Balm

I’m including the Nourish + Renew Lip Balm in this post because I’ve been asked a couple of times recently about it so it’s the perfect opportunity to give it a review. It’s a little bit different to your average balm, containing apple extract and blackcurrant oil as well as the obligatory vitamin E and shea butter.

Crabtree & Evelyn

The big plus for this balm is that it is fragrance free – great for anyone who doesn’t like that vanilla-ish back taste that so many have. It’s smooth, feels nourishing and gives a low sheen rather than full on shine. I noticed that it lasted on my lips a long time so while I thought that £14.50 HERE, non affiliate HERE, is pricy for a balm, given how long it lasts it feels reasonable. The packaging too is a high score because it has that lipstick click and looks more luxury than most. I’ve got another candle (Sundown) to review from this brand – it’s in the candle queue!

The lip balm sounds lovely, I have made a note to try it when I’ve worked through the handful of different lip balms I have on the go at the moment! Set myself some use-it-up challenges inspired by other readers’ comments on some of your recent posts 🙂

Yes, a good time to use up or streamline.

I just ordered two of the lip balms, thanks for the recommendation!
