[productsample/affiliatelink] It seems as though this pod style hand cream is here to stay because the newest launch from Chanel is a super-charged ‘Le Lift’ version.
In the same way that foodies talk about ‘mouth feel’, this certainly has the beauty equivalent of hand feel. It just seems to nestle into your palm as though it’s meant to be there – I’m sure they should bring out a stress ball version! This black variant is different to the original in that it’s got more of a targeted skin care element.
It’s formulated with alfalfa which according to the brand has retinol-like properties to help with evening out tone. Like any good skin care product, it contains hyaluronic acid alongside nourishing oils to help with moisture levels. It’s definitely more akin to a face product than a hand product, and as you might expect, has a price tag to reflect that at £55 for 50ml. I haven’t (obviously) long term tested this but at a surface test level, it’s super light and very nourishing.
It’s definitely treat territory (but then, most of Chanel is) but is an elevation from your regular hand cream in terms of ingredients. Actually, I asked the brand yesterday about their special Christmas offerings – there is usually a lush bath oil or something, and sure enough, a gold flecked oil (I think for the bath) is on its way.
