Time of Your Life Box

This new beauty box is a little different – it’s a mix of products (including chocolate – what’s not to like about that?) aimed at 40+ and lifestyle podcasts pinged to you throughout the month if you subscribe. It’s very relevant right now as older women feel neglected by the beauty market, plus it’s a unique twist on the over saturated standard box.

All of the products have reason to be in the box – a cluster of randomness it is not. There’s a month’s supply of supplements, a full size Dr Hauschka Lemongrass Revitalising Bath Essence, (delish!), an Organic Pharmacy hand cream, a Collagen Boost Serum, a bar of Willie’s Cacao Dark Chocolate (personally, I’d rather have a Topic.. but) and a Bella Pierre Gel Liner in Charcoal.

Charcoal is a mid-dark grey shade – a very good alternative if you find black too harsh. I put it on straight away and love it.
As this is the first box, it’s hard to predict whether it’s worth taking out the full subscription (which is the better value option) at £24.99 a month or opt for a six month subscription or even just a one off purchase (£34.99). I think the bigger picture here is how beauty boxes are having to switch it up, be less predictable and expand out into offering far more than just a bunch of stuff. Approximate value of this box is £80. As a taster of this month’s subscriber podcasts – you’ll find Liz Earle on menopause, Dr Marilyn Glenville on nutrition and make up artist, Lee Pycroft on make up.

The idea of having a chocolate in the beauty box is genius! I love this box! Nice products!
Haven’t tried any of the other products but that Organic Pharmacy hand cream is the best one I’ve ever tried (and if I don’t use hand cream frequently my hands become sandpaper, so I have tried a LOT of hand creams) – it sinks in quickly, keeps your hands silky and smooth, and, whilst it doesn’t claim it, I also feel it makes my nails stronger and less brittle…100% recommendation from me.
Very interesting concept for a subscription box, and the addition of podcast access is a cool tweak, thank you for the heads up, Jo 🙂
That’s great to know – thanks for sharing. x
I like the idea of a health & wellness box. Someone thought the box value of £80 was exaggerated. I asked if they had seen the price of supplements these days. A month’s supply is generous and unheard of to the best of my knowledge.
