There’s nothing not to like about the Sali Hughes Pretty Iconic Beauty Box containing all of Sali’s iconic beauty products, including a copy of the book that the box is named for. It goes without saying that it will disappear in a flash which is why I’m posting today so you can get your name on the ‘first to know’ list when it goes live on Thursday. If it was in a store I’m sure there would be an unseemly crush for it and you can expect a digital stampede but without the security guards and the line.

The contents are amazing – it’s the best box I’ve seen in terms of variety with 16 properly useful, fun-to-try products, all of which have earned a place in the book. Above, it’s mini size Nars Orgasm blush, a mini Benetint, a full size Bourjois Le Pot Rouge and a full size Ruby Woo from MAC (which gets its own page in Pretty Iconic).

The next row is Lanolps 101 Ointment full size, Vichy Aqualia Serum gull size, Alpha J Liquid Gold full size, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo full size, REN Glycolactic Masque full size, Sisley Black Rose Face Mask sample size, and a single Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gel Mask.

Last row is Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream full size, St Tropez Classic Self Tan full size, Aveda Shampure full size and John Freida Frizz Ease full size. There’s also a mitt to go with the St Tropez. The box is £85 with £250 content value – if you already have the book, and I know lots of you do, then that’s a Christmas gift for someone taken care of already! The book is great – it got me hooked on Rubis tweezers.
I’m still yet to try any of the Nars blushes but that orgasm shade is on the top of the list for things to try from them. x

Oh this would normally be so up my street if I didn’t already own at least half of it. I have so many Bourjois blushers that I store them in macaron boxes (very similar in size!) and about three mini Benetints so I can have one in every bag alongside my full size on my dressing table.
Yes, that Benetint seems to get everywhere! Love the idea of storing the Bourjois in a macaron box.. it seems very appropriate!
The best bit is if you don’t have enough space in one macaron box, you have to buy more macarons and if you have more space in that box, well, you get to buy more Bourjois!
And I’ve very nearly finished a full sized Benetint which feels like an accomplishment?! Adult braces and post jaw surgery lip numbness have made lipstick harder to wear confidently so Benetint has been my go to!
Jane, do you know if this is actually endorsed by Sali?
Thanks.
Yes it is.. it’s in conjunction with her publisher so the contents are all Sali’s picks.
Thanks.
