Mavala Tinted Lip Balms

[unpaid/sample] I’m always happy to see a tinted lip balm, especially when they’re affordable. These are a new launch from Mavala, better known for their dinky sized nail polishes, making a bit of a summer splash without putting a dent in your purse.

These are just the fruity and fun balmy sticks that they look like – each one has a scent and it is that slightly faux fruit aroma that reminds me of Bonne Belles from the past but without the punch. I’m wearing Berry right now and it made me smile, but not as much as Peach which is one of my favourite ‘faux’ fruity smells.

Going across the picture – the yellow is Vanilla (no colour), orange is Peach, purple is Berry and pink is Candy.

Candy is the one to have if you loved rooting through the pick n mix – it’s got that real sweetie scent – Dolly Mixtures and foam shrimps.

As you can see, the tints are light (candy, berry, peach) but there is a nuance of colour once on the lip. Perfect for no-make up days when you need just a touch of something. They’re £6.85 HERE.

Reminiscent of long summer days and childhood memories, we are excited to share our new range of Tinted Lip Balms launching this coming Spring.

Formulated with shea butter, aloe vera and apricot extract, the Tinted Lip Balms are gentle on the skin and comfortable to wear. Made to care for the skin, the balms nourish, moisturise and protect lips that are stressed and dry. The ultra-fine, non-sticky texture also contains SPF15 which makes it the perfect addition to a summer makeup bag for protection against UV rays.

Suitable for users aged 3+, the Balms are a family friendly product to ensure lips are kept in top condition against factors including pollution, sun and cold, dry air. The range is also dermatologically tested and gluten free.

With four delicate shades to choose from including a classic rich Vanilla, vibrant and summery Peach, a sweet treat of Candy and Berry, a dark intense hue, the light and flattering shades leave a deliciously yet subtle taste on lips

  1. Thank you, this cheered me up! I love Mavala’s nail polishes, most of all their Minute Quick-Finish top coat, although their ads always embarrass me with their language mistakes (“Color’s in good hands”).

Also, I love your photos with the cute lollipop mouth!

Thanks Jenny! I don’t think I’ve ever tried their top coat – on the list!
