Kiko Rebel Romantic Contouring Pencil Kit

Kiko Rebel Romantic Contouring Pencil Kit

Maybe it’s just me, but the Kiko Rebel Romantic collection is a little bit lacklustre – maybe because I’m used to really strong and striking collections I really don’t associate Kiko with meh products. So, I’ve pulled what I think are the best products from the range, including the Kiko Rebel Romantic Contouring Pencil Kit which is a very handy thing if you’re a contour lover. It’s also good, I think for anyone who has yet to try contouring, because the textures are light and blendable, and your contour actions are controllable because it’s a smaller stick format, not big ‘chubby’ style sticks.

The first pencil in the 01 kit I have is a highlighter – personally, I think it has pink tones to it, and the second is a bronzer, but it’s not an extreme bronze. I think it’s well priced at £9.90.

From the Kiko Metallic Shine Eyeshadow selection (6 shades), I have Absolutely Rose and Superb Beige – neither are particularly dynamic although there are some darker shades that might do the metallic shine element better.

They’re quite handy colours to have (£6.90) and the texture is smooth, although a little bit on the dry side, but the Kiko Rebel Romantic collection just seems a little flat. If they are your colours, the collection is out now on the Kiko site HERE.

I’m wondering how the kilo pencils compare with Clinique’s sculp and highlight sticks, both texture and colour-wise. Kiko seems like an interesting range to try, gonna check out their products hahaha. Very wallet-friendly too!

  3. I quite like the contour kit. However I will probably still get the smashbox one instead. Is it just me or this packaging looks rather on a cheap side comparing to what we are used to with Kiko? Well, it’s nothing fancy but their limited editions normally are, I don’t know, just more?
